Sorry to see ya go.

I just upgraded my SUV status. Added a 2007 Caddy Escalade to my Mercury Mountaineer stable of vehicles. Perhaps someday the wife will let me sell off the mountaineer just not at this time. Cuz she wants me to do the dirty jobs in the mountaineer. The Escalade is cool, gets mileage about the same as the mountaineer. I bought the escalade off the internet. Due to poor shipping arrangements, I ended up flying out to eastern Iowa actually landed in Moline, Illinois and drove the car from Davenport, Iowa home to the Carson Valley in Nevada. 1795.7 miles door to door. I hit some nasty winds in western Nebraska, and blinding snowstorms in Wyoming where I saw 4 big rigs knocked over presumably by the wind. Fortunately these were all off the road edge. Another rig jackknifed on itself plus several log jams of rigs struggling through the nasty weather around Cheyenne to Laramie. Aside from all that the car drove fine...Plenty of gas along the way. Passed through Carbon County, Wyoming, where the town of Sinclair exists, home of Sinclair Oil. The oil refinery was noticeable because of its size and the lights were on. Still must be plenty of that old dinosaur muck to suck out of the ground thereabouts.
