Craig: I didn't see anything that stood out like a sore thumb ... including the reference to the "million times larger" than a PC disk drive. I just skimmed over that particular section because I wasn't interested in that portion of ZITL's business. If I had taken the time to validate all the numbers by cross referencing to the available specifications on the CASD system, I too would have wondered about the discrepancy.

A single CASD device makes the capacity of 'a lot of disk drives' available through a common device and associated interface. He referred to 'distributed processing'. In the event that the 'a million times larger' quote was in reference to multiple CASD devices possibly situated in different sites around the world, connected through software technology and satellite links ... then 'a million times larger' isn't that far off ... if at all.

>>Either Art doesn't know technology (or can't do his math), or he's a master hypster. Which do you think it is?<<

Come on, Bill. Please don't put me in the position of having to categorize Chait as being either uninformed or a hypester. That's unfair to me and to the readers of this thread. With no additional information as to what the specifics behind the quote were, I can't say he doesn't know technology. And, most people in leadership postions of public companies are hypesters to some degree. You wouldn't expect him to go around bad mouthing his own company, would you?

My opinion remains the same. If the MatriDigm product fulfills its purpose in life, then ZITL's stock could do well ... at least for a little while. And I'll be sitting on the sidelines waiting for that 'short' while to make some money by buying in low and selling high. Isn't that what it's all about?
