I haven't really looked in to Jeb Bush too much, but

1 - Despite the fact that people are individuals, and are not automatically like their relatives, I think the experience with his father and brother as president hurts him. I say that not as an attack against them, but just to point out their relative unpopularity. G HW was a one term president. G W was a two term president but was unpopular in his 2nd term.

2 - I don't think a brokered convention is too likely, and even if it happens I think one of the current candidates will get the nomination.

Actually I think that he is the hands-down favorite of the party establishment but unfortunately for them polling shows that the Bush name is still TOO TOXIC with the public....

(So he will queue up for the 2016 cycle.)
