My perception is that she is not trying to "control" but rather point out a serious health issue in this country which will ultimately lead to enormous health care costs for the upcoming generation. The percentage of overweight children in the United States is growing at an alarming rate, with 1 out of 3 kids now considered overweight or obese. kidshealth.org Her position on exercise and healthier diets for children hardly means she is anorexic, nor that she doesn't enjoy good food in moderation.
