Of course you must be aware of the study where the research scientist is training pigs to use computer joy sticks which have been adapted for them, and is hoping to program pig computer games so he will be able to see how they think. Pigs are very smart, smarter than horses.

There is new research that prairie dogs speak in very complex languages. Of course, to each his own, bon appetit!!!!

If I could kidnap you, I would strap you to a recliner and force you
to watch the movie "Babe" all Thanksgiving weekend, in hopes of developing some sensitivity, but I suspect it might be a lost cause.

Anyway, here's another peom, which responds to your philosophy of life:

The Sending of the Animals

For animals, you say were "sent"
For man's free use and nutriment.
Pray, then, inform me and be candid,
Why came they aeons before man did,
To spend long centuries, on earth
Awaiting their devourer's birth?
Those ill-timed chattels sent from heaven,
Were, sure, the maddest gift e'er given -
"sent" for man's use (can we believe it?)
When there was no man to receive it!

Henry S.SALT (1851-1939)
