Hi Gerald,
Sorry for the delay and kiwi has an ounce of truth in his statement but hey!!! the people on this thread are solid too and can be a force to reckon with like you saw Brenda bring us all to good ole mother earth in just one post.

I am attempting to answer your Q:
Cyclopss i believe has a patent for the technology which they use in mixing and controlling O3 in water. We can verify that on Monday for sure when someone calls up the co. This is because all technology used for the mixing and control of O3 is proprietary. They have been in the laundry industry they have their proprietary technology to mix O3 with water. Now here is the catch 22. The methodology of generating O3 is by itself very simple and it is not rocket science. This technology will be available to any company if they pay royalty to Electric Power Research Institute or if they team up with some University which has done work in the area. There are tons of Universities across the nation which have this technology.

Key thing to note here that controlling the concentration and mixing the O3 is a more technically involved process and that is where they, i believe have a patented process to do so. Other companies can also be in the same business because if some one modifies an existing process and makes some minor changes in the working model it will not be termed as patent infingement as long as the story is convincing.

Why OZON ? They are the only publicly traded co. in the food business employing O3, so it may be a goldmine. Like i said in earlier posts they will have to move very fast and grab all they can in the existing market before others in the same business go public. Publicly traded cos can come up with financing with relatively fewer problems and can penetrate larger markets.

Besides i would not want to invest in a business which relies heavily only one product. Here like others have said they have may irons in the fire. A textile division, Aerospace, Medical disinfection etc,.al
They have an excellent management team, Melinda Ballard heading the PR and Bill Stoddard put together and a formidable duo for competition. They have been moving well in those lines and have recently raised money for penetrating the food industry. The business is lucrative (Laundry and Food and the others) as all these will have maintenance contracts which bring in a steady stream of income. It's not a business of sell and forget but continuous ongoing maintenance. This also reflects a mutual fund where stocks are diversified in to many arenas to offset business cycle downturns.

Please go back a little and read the last 1000 posts as there is valuable information and you can go back further. You should read that as it is your money and you want to know every thing about this Co.

Me and a lot of others believe that they will do well inspite of the competition and they will engage in more businesses as opportunity knocks the door. If you feel shy of posting a real dumb question on the thread you can e-mail me or any of the older member's and your question will be answered. Looking forward to more posts from you.
Hope i have answered to a small degree.

BTW: Cents, i wish i had posted that post minus the paragraph you mentioned and my apologies.

Regards

Go OZON,

Sri.
