Rod, I wasn't aware of this: " My main concern [among many<g>] was the provision for denying access [by shareholders] of any IPM 'document' without express voting by the Board of Directors."

I have never heard of a provision like this. Is this normal for speculative mining companies? Does this excuse IPM legally from revealing material information to the shareholders and the market? If so, it is a very powerful provision, and would seem to give the IPM Board power to manipuliate the stock. It doesn't make sense.

Brad

"If you wish to be further amused I suggest that you match up the educational claims from Lee Furlong's circulated resume against the details printed in IPM's 10K..."

I believe (but am not sure) that Aurum posted at around this time to this thread. The subject was discussed here, anyway, somewhere around the 11,000s, and the question was not (imho) adequately answered.

This was one of the red flags I mentioned in my last post above.

Rod,
So outside directors wasn't voted on?

Perhaps "IPM management claimed...95%...voted for the amendments because they didn't have to *produce* those results either :-)

"I suggest that you match up [Le's] educational claims...against the...10K...[which] must be requested from IPM"--or me :)

And Rod, if I may add to that... Lee allowed himself or stated to JTaylor (Feb 10/97 Taylor report) that he was a "visiting professor" Applied Physics in Mining at the University of Newcastle (Australia).
When infact according to Stephen F Cox, Head of Department of Geology, University of Newcastle (Australia), he states in an e-mail...

Dear Denis
I've made some enquiries concerning your questions. It appears that Mr Furlong did have an association with the Physics Department here,... he was a visiting consulting geologist.... It is unlikely he had any official title...If you need any further details, you could contact the now retired Prof of Physics...
