I have owned KMB for just a few years now. Your post reminded me. I basically ignore this stock. Dividends just paid into my Fidelity account. They increase periodically, price eventually follows. I almost wish it wouldn't, but I see the price appreciation as "confirming" the higher dividends.

I have ignored stocks before and paid the price. I hope not this time. Unlike a lot of people here (it seems) I would love to never have to look at my dividend portfolio. So far, KMB is working out that way. Thoughts?

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is raising its annual dividend by 9 percent to $1.59 per share. The world's biggest retailer says the dividend will be paid quarterly at a rate of 39.75 cents per share. The first such dividend will be paid April 4 to shareholders of record March 12. The Bentonville, Ark., company has increased its dividend every year since its first declared dividend in March 1974.
