Btw, after using the iPad2 for the last year, I don't see what the current iPad2 owners would use to justify buying the iPad3

I'll be moving up from the original iPad. If Siri comes with the upgrade, which I imagine it will, enabling dictation, etc., will that tempt you?

I've got the original, and frankly since the iOS5 update it's become pretty unstable. And I've wanted better resolution since I first got it...

Honest, I think it's going to be dynamite. I know at least one guy here that has a 2 and is planning to upgrade and "pass down" his 2.

I sold a majority of my position at $448 and thought wow that was a great trade.

I took part of the money and invested it in something that has dropped every day since I bought it.

Talk about a sinking feeling.

Good thing you don't book a loss until you actually hit the sell button.

iPad 3/HD/whateverit'scalled will make me feel better as I alway love sitting in a long line the day a product is released.

Oooh ... I don't know about that. If the display is anything like on the iPhone 4/4S ... Also, there's a high probability of a much better camera -- the one on the iPad 2 is just plain lame. Now a camera on an iPad is something I thought I'd never use. BUT when you're lollygagging under a palm tree on the beach and you happen to have an iPad with you and want to show the folks back home what a great place you're in .... plus, I can always unload my iPad 2 on ebay or some such place.
