Thanks, GZ. Yes, I completely agree that it would take a total national conspiracy for it to unfold in the manner that I described, but I was only using that as an ideal-case example to illustrate how each party would abuse the system if allowed to. I also agree that Romney has this wrapped up now. Gingrich is completely out of it as is Ron Paul. I think the big question now is who will Romney choose as his running mate? A Romney/Santorum ticket could be interesting. I feel better about Santorum since NumbersUSA upgraded his immigration scorecard. If Romney could win two terms, Santorum serving the entire two terms as his VP would be ready for the big spotlight. That could potentially give us 16 years of Republicans nominating SCOTUS justices and federal judges, but there may too much bad blood there from the nomination process. Let's hope not, because Santorum has endorsed Romney in the past. I'm hopeful for a good outcome there.
