Tech Investor,

The MMs they use are just from observations watching my own bids or offers being represented, so I don't know how they make money. It seems obvious they are being paid for order flow, but there have been no negative consequences as a result that I have been able to determine. Datek, of course, always uses Island and only Island to represent non marketable limit orders. Sometimes it's good, like when another Datek customer wants your shares, and sometimes it's bad, when the MMs trade around Island.

I'll be interested in hearing how you like Web Street, especially the level II quotes.
