I had three of those on the knee before I fell, and totally trashed all the previous work....then had to have a total knee replacement.

The first scope' I had was relatively easy....two days and was off crutches....but the second one wasn't as easy....I asked why, and it turns out in the ten years inbetween, they are now doing scope' on problems they used to have to open your whole knee up before.....The second and third were pretty extensive and took several weeks to walk normally....but still MUCH easier than the replacement was.

You are wise to not let the problem get worse....
