It depends on what the meaning of "it" is.

Does this mean that you will be voting for Santorum in your primary now, or will you still be holding out hope for a nice all around guy like J Edwards?

No, read again he has never been against it,. You have a problem. I believe it is Obama's overt racism. Initially many white voters were swayed thinking casting a vote for Obama would end racism, but found there vote actually made it worse. Obama has lost many voters with his racism and that of some of his administration.
