Bernanke admitted that the job of restoring the economy to full health is now largely out of his hands.

"Monetary policy is not a panacea," he said. "The long-term health of the economy depends mostly on decisions taken by Congress and the administration."

That is a clear and resounding admission of defeat by the Federal Reserve Chairman. Surely Bernanke owns large portions of the blame for leading America to the brink of financial collapse before admitting defeat.

Unfortunately for us, Bernanke still doesn't understand that the long-term health of the economy depends mostly on decisions taken by America's entrepeneurs.

Bernanke and Obama just don't get it. They need to unshackle private enterprise. They can run around and kiss all the union butts they want, but it costs us time and money.

America needs adult leadership in the worst way. Bernanke and Obama and Harry Reid must be fired asap. Only then can the hard work really begin.

The question I have is if they stay in office, what plans do Bernanke and Obama have to save us from themselves? The answer to that could be devastating.
