Gonzo,

Thanks for the chart. Take a close look at Friday's candle on the OEX.

You know well that with Candles confirmation is required, so my prliminary hunch is far from conclusive.

Its a white day with only a lower shadow. Of course it is not a HAMMER since the body is too large or the leg is too short. But per my analysis I would consider it as a SEMI-HAMMER requiring alot of confirmation. As we Candlestick readers all know that a true HAMMER is a common indicator of a reversal after/during a strong uptrend.

As I have written many times in the past I normally use 10 different indicators in my TA system, and they are very convincing that there will be a technical dip, small pull-back, or at least flatness for the next few days.

This SEMI-HAMMER, or whatever anyone wants to call it, falls in line with the rest of my TA.

Would love to hear your comments. I am simply intrigued by candlesticks, but will never allow one technical indicator to influence me.
