That's a pretty lousy argument. Adoptive and non-adoptive hertero-sexual parents have also abused their kids, sometimes as severely as this, sometimes killing them instead.

Statistical evidence that severe abuse is massively more common from homo-sexual adoptive parents might be a reasonable argument, an anecdote like this, not so much, it just inflames without informing.
