Celeryroot, Re: TA is useless when a stock has a lot of derivative play. IMO, probably not much more useless or useful than when a stock doesn't have a lot of derivative play. Most of the big stocks have substantial derivative play these days & TA continues to be as frustating to decipher as when I first encountered it aroud 40 years ago. Yet, there continue to be adherents such as I,because it is so easy to read by hindsight, so difficult in real time. I'm sure our great sentry & equally great humorist & wine giftor down in Texas can empathise with these sentiments. Bernie.
