personally i think that 2 gig HD is insufficient today. even 3.2 is cutting it close but much better, and you're getting Office (lite) for only 136$$. plus MUEI is hurting and needs the biz. gggg. I realize that you started with a soft budget of 1500$$. My contention is: get the machine you want. It will be obselete the day you unpack it, but you will be that much further down the road. Larry
