I enjoyed both those songs. Something about Las Mañanitas Con Banda that is truly a "freakin' riot"--as you say! :-)

And I did note a bit of chivalric racism in Lefty and Poncho... HEROS.

Thanks for posting that Banda music. Most of the kids in Mexico listen to that and not rock and roll or hip hop. Late at night when you're driving through some little dusty town you hear them practicing it in the town halls and squares and you hear it being played in the cantinas from Durango to Monterey. Very popular and very Mexican.
