I shop Costco, Walmart and Safeway. Costco when I want a large amount of a very good product at the cheapest price. Walmart when I want a small amount of product at the cheapest price. Safeway for convenience. All within a couple of miles of me. Just a boy and his Moped.

I'd lay odds that a lot of shoppers there are lower income and probably pay little or no federal income tax

Yup, that's me to a tee. Wasn't always so, but even when in high clover I was the thrifty type, preferred getting more for less (my kids condensed that to tightwad).

The right side of things has been derelict in not portraying Wally as a prime beneficiary of the poor.
