Do you think 7 or 8 years is a reasonable time for a "recovery" from a recession?

Does it even occur to you that this recession might have lasted half that long had we had competent leadership during the last 3.5 years?

Particularly, given the fact that incompetent policy of FDR (which the current fool tried to emulate) managed to drag out the Depression for more than 10 years?

It is time to recognize that Keynesianism and the "managed economy", as policy, simply doesn't work.

But companies don't need as many workers as they did in the past, thanks in part to technology.

There is another side to this problem. There are a number of skilled manu. jobs that are not getting filled. We as a nation are not turning enough skilled workers. That has to change.
