Jim,

As I recall, Iomega has never LICENSED anyone to make Zip disks! I believe that Iomega and Sentinel (sp) over in Europe somewhere are the only sources of Zip disks, with the company in Europe producing the disks under CONTRACT to Iomega, not license...much the same as Epson produced Zip DRIVES in the Phillipines under CONTRACT to Iomega.

In contrast, MCI and NEC have non-exclusive rights to manufacture Zip drives under LICENSE to Iomega with Iomega receiving "neglible" royalties per Kim Edwards in a previous conference call.
