No he's putting his faith in the one window that has truely led mankind to peer further behind the veils of discovery both of the universe, ourselves and other creatures that surround us that we so similarly reflect . Science if anything has challenged itself in every corner of its own investigation , speaks a language that is truely universal & knows little about barriers of the generalizations that hamper most faith based systems and allows for a view that is truely universal of men vis a vis other men .(and women) It even allows for belief in some supernautral mind if that scientist is so inclined but in an inifite sense science inspires all , extends our view of ourselves & in every good way has challenged faith based systems to take good hard looks at themselves and change . If you want spirituality there are certainly the ages of wisdoms that were spoken of by Alan Watts or Aldous Huxlely in that great book " The Perrenial Philosphy" or some other spirtual path you can concoct from those 1000's of years of human introspection but scientists are also not without such introspection too , in fact most scientists are extremely aware of how wonderous/miraculous this Universe is and debate constantly with themselves .(and others of faith we have witnessed ) After all said & done what is faith in the "spiritual " without empiracle data , verification and testimnony if such beliefs in fact are true . Something so infinitely great as "God" should certainly be able to be pointed out in myriad ways . Infinity , now there's an idea for just a start ... (The Fed knows about this , true )
