<<...or a beast "filled with sound and fury signifying nothing". Maybe he needs a thorn pulled..>> Eric and all...he is possibly one of the Short Team Drummers at IPM...since the April ATTACKS...
C.L. has said that he worked for Wainwright Brokerage in Boston, I have no idea, if true..see IPM Postings over the last month or two weeks since fired. I expect it involves an interview with C.L.'s Ex in which there exists as per another post an statement of Denial by that party as to the facts presented. It involves Lew Greens short posts to Bloomberg,, IMO ( again), and and possible the Steffy and or other printed attacks on IPM. Watch out ...I have no idea what it all means. Time will answer all our questions. He wouldn't know a chain of custody if it triped him, again -in my opinion.
Why would he send me 8 e-mails in a week and a half and one a week a few weeks prior..I have no idea. They are maily jibbes and swears. Any PHYSC ideas???

Tom, Rand, Lorne et al. I have been thinking about the very same topic for weeks. The various precious metals all would have numerous applications that could have a revolutionary impact on industry and perhaps society as a whole. The problem has always been the relatively limited supply and consequent lofty price of the metals. If, and it is still a big if, the metals present at Franklin Lakes are there in sufficient quantities to be economically viable and can be extracted we will be sitting on a store of reserves that could dwarve current reserves. This new onslaught of reserves WOULD have a negative impact on prices but would usher in an era when these metals will become industrial metals. As Tom says this could spark an incredibly exciting transformation in engineering and manufacturing.

I know the prospect of lower prices for the commodities we are producing is not what many of you would call exciting. As I have mentioned to a number of people that we would no longer have a gold mine but would have a 'copper' mine. But the exciting prospect for us is that given the high cost of other mines, and assuming ours is sufficiently low, we would have not only the largest but perhaps the world's only 'copper' mine. Also the Johnson-Lett process would put the company in an excellent postion of holding the key to unlocking other deposits.

A further note I was very excited about the mention of the article that was published in the Scientific American. What little I could garner sounded an awful lot like the direction the J-L process is in.

This is all tremendously exciting.

Henry

Tom: Thanks for your excellent post.

<<..."suppose" we had 100's of times the gold and PGM's ever thought existed and "suppose" they could be mined profitably bringing per ounce costs down. What would you do with them? The nice part of this type of think tank is that there will be a real chance to take advantage of any concepts develop via the Franklin Lake Deposit (and many more to follow).>>

This kind of reminds me of a story I was told about Dr. Groves, the leading scientist researching precious metals recovery from the Californian playas. The story I heard (I cannot confirm its accuracy) was that Dr. Groves was getting a lot of unwanted publicity over his work on Franklin Lake and Lake Tecopa and was worried that South African mining interests might take steps to protect their franchise, as it were.

It's interesting that radar or sonar may be able to map bedrock, soil densities and other subsurface geology. While it would help us to calculate total tonnage, I'm certain Wall St. will still demand drilling and assaying to quantify both tonnage and precious metal grades. However, that will not prevent people from driving up the stock price before hand in anticipation of tremendous yields and tonnage!

Regards,

Rand

Hi Tom,
Thank you for your many posts. I believe that the depth has already been located on the Franklin Lake Playa. If memory serves the playa ranges 3200 feet to 5600 feet to bedrock. Kim or anyone who has a copy of Clyde Davis' geological review of the property could verify this statistic for us.
Best regards to all Naxonians.
