If they are not trying to get an abortion (a far more invasive procedure), than the requirement for the ultrasounds (had it ever gone in to effect), wouldn't apply. I see. Except that the abortion is not necessarily more invasive. An abortion can be no more invasive than a pill, which no one would consider invasive, although I suppose technically it is. Plus, two invasive procedures are more invasive than one invasive procedure. (This assumes, as studies have shown, that the abortion will almost always occur anyway.) The net invasion is greater in most cases.
