Mike,

Curious to know if you had a chance to check out Patriot Scientific
booth at Comdex, and if so did you get a chance to see their java
based NC? Their PSC1000 microprocessor was nominated by PC Week as a
candidate for Best Development Tool. It apparently runs java very
efficiently with JavaOS and JVM ported to it. I understand that the
Sun JavaOS they had was a "pre-pre alpha" version without any network
drivers, but somehow made it work anyway. Full version will be on
the chip as soon as Sun finalizes it.

Thanks.

Bob

Mike,

Thanx for the info :-) For the record, I was not trying to argue pro/con win terminals. My posts are meant to be objective observations of my interpretation of the industry. As an investor, it scares me to see comments that trash and give little to no credit to the competition. What's the quote: Keep your friends close, keep your enemies even closer :-)
