Rowan, well-stated. One purpose SI is to discuss these disagreements in a civil and rational way. This is a win-win situation for all of us. Sometimes people ( not anyone particular here) are to attached to the notion of themselves as gurus or "big shots" to hold a calm, reasonable, and polite dialogue. Also, when we deal with investing, we are dealing with people's insecurities. The investing "game" is a Rorschach test for our insecurities. The key is to realize that we can use our intelligence to help each other.

Rowan,my intent in my last post was to commend you for what I consider to be a intelligent,unbiased,logical analysis of SPTR.It was not intended to criticize your report and if it came across that way,I apologize.Our disagreements were with your assumption that press releases and other published information and verbal comments were treated as fact. What you said was very important "What is not said is probably more important than what is said".Also see if you can get SPTR to comment on their Asian and S A sales.Also,I may be wrong, but doesn't the tax code require you to put start-up costs against capital and not expense? I do not have the time to start another discussion about the merits and negatives of SPTR.I have other fields to plow, that are taking a lot of my time.
