He gave himself to this work with subtlety and for purposes of personal exploitation. For the Galiean's object (Jesus) was to liberate His country from Jewish oppression. He set Himself against Jewish capitalism, and that's why the Jews liquidated Him. -HitlerIt is interesting how Hitler (who had studied Christianity extensively and obsessively, and who likened himself to Jesus) believed that Paul (and his followers) had corrupted True Christianity as laid out by the figure of Jesus. This is similar to what millions of Christians do today as they reject most of the 35,000 Christian sects in favor of a Direct Jesus Approach. Hitler's speeches exhorting Christianity (as well as those he made denouncing the modern interpretations deriving from Paul and centuries of interpretation and sanitizing) make it clear that his was a very Jesus centered approach to his chosen faith. In some ways he despised the interpretations created by the Christian movement over the centuries as they invented and edited to create (eventually) a fairly consistent body of dogma. His Christ was a Warrior Christ. A Christian was one who followed Christ into battle. This original Christianity from Christ, Hitler termed POSITIVE CHRISTIANITY. Of course, it is very obvious, that without the words of the German Christian Hero, Luther--the initiatives undertaken by these people would have been unthinkable and impossible. Unfortunately, much of Germany absolutely believed that the Jews were Vermin and Demons. How do you argue with the opinion of the greatest Christian of all time?? "For a time Hitler advocated positive Christianity , a militant, non-denominational form of Christianity which emphasized Christ as an active preacher, organizer, and fighter who opposed the institutionalized Judaism of his day. [42] Positive Christianity purged or deemphasized the Jewish aspects of Christianity and was infused with aspects of nationalism and racial antisemitism . Hitler never directed his attacks on Jesus himself, [ 43] whom Hitler regarded as an Aryan opponent of the Jews . [44] Hitler viewed traditional Christianity as a corruption of the original ideas of Jesus by the Apostle Paul . [4 5] In Mein Kampf Hitler writes that Jesus "made no secret of his attitude toward the Jewish people, and when necessary he even took the whip to drive from the temple of the Lord this adversary of all humanity, who then as always saw in religion nothing but an instrument for his business existence. In return, Christ was nailed to the cross." [46] In a speech 26 June 1934, Hitler stated: The National Socialist State professes its allegiance to positive Christianity. It will be its honest endeavour to protect both the great Christian Confessions in their rights, to secure them from interference with their doctrines ( Lehren ), and in their duties to constitute a harmony with the views and the exigencies of the State of to-day.
