Simon, <MY OBJECTION is that some people who apparently do not understand the market are acting like cheer leaders for some stocks, and unwittingly dragging other people into the stock only to lose money.

If this is occuring people will figure it out. Just a matter of time. Investment 101 has been expensive for some folks.

Simon, everyone is responsible for their own investment decisions. If some choose to invest based on what they read on the internet, then I'm sure they will soon be without funds to make more mistakes with. People WILL make mistakes. Whether or not they learn from them is another story.
