Re: Nomai I don't recall if it was this thread or MF, but someone
posted that (i think) that there was a seizure at the Nomai factory
a little while back. Is it reasonable to assume that the raid
wouldn't ahve been done unless the French authorities thought it
(at least) reasonable? That, plus Iomega's statement about their
Nomai disk tests showing that their disk only worked in some drives,
and damaged others, lead me to believe that Nomai is Nobigdeal.
I don't see that driving the stock price down.

I doubt Darrell referenced $17 as a post-split number (unless he's
got one of those delightfully sadistic senses of humor).

If the $17 figure would be due to Sony's drive, does that invalidate
the 11million (DR IOMEGA, are you out there?) drives sold (which
doesn't include the drives sold by licensees) as being of any import?
Didn't KE say something about tech difficulties with high-capacity
storage that have to be worked out? From what I gathered, he didn't
seem to worried about Sony. Even so, why discount the Zip-200?

I don'w wanna knock Darrell, I'm just trying to find some possibility
for what he said. If he said it in our best interest (which the naive
me likes to believe, then he was hinting at volume-price factors
(explicitly) and some other factor (which we all know about)). If he
said it because he's a trader with commissions in his eyes and he's
jerking us around, well, shame on him.

*sigh*

no better off than before,
