i agree. the thing is that now the markets perception is that DSPs are what is driving the company, and it is correct to some extent. two years ago they got punished along with everyone else who was making memory when s/d imbalance became abundently clear. now, they are hardly hurt by it all even though they still have exposure to memory production.

now, since the market will be focused on DSPs, when you start gettign more competitors in the market, wall st. likes to look forward and start bringing you down EVEN THOUGH you are transitioning to higher margin products. the net result is that the stock price is discounted on the possiblity of a downturn. THATS what scares me.

LT, i think the stock is a good buy, but the next two years are going to be a little jumpy.

BTW-- does anyone have any info on semi testing equipment makers. MOT, MU and others (i think even INTC) are having problems with getting testing equipment.
