I truly believe that part of the reason that Obama won Virginia in 2007-2008 was because he and the Democrat Party ran advertisements in Virginia scaring older people into believing that McCain was going to take their Social Security away. Throughout the evening news after people came home from work the Obama's scare the Seniors ads would run, not just 1 or two but every 10 minutes and through out the evening. (Indirectly, he was also scaring the adult children who had parents who could need financial assistance.) The Republican Party must be ready to counter those fear ads of Obama. That is what Obama is good at---crying wolf---------creating fear. Remember how in August of 2011, Obama threatened that Social Security would be stopped if there was not an extension in the debt. Again a way of scaring people on Social Security. This was Obama's big lie, big hoax. It did not happen and would not have happened if the extension had not passed in some form---------Social Security was set up as a paper tiger to get what he wanted. Fear is used to immobilize people which is exactly what Obama has done in almost 4 years. The other side of Obama is that he uses fear to mobilize his leftist supporters . jmo
