Wayne - questioned Donner, but no response yet. There is lots of drilling going on, maybe the deeper holes will turn up something to follow on the 22% metal assay, or begin to give an overall picture of the prospects of whatever may be there in terms of a potential oregrade deposit.

Precious metals are in the tank and tax loss not helping, but if some of the troubled economies decides to sell off high-priced paper (because of doubts about that staying up) and go after gold, watch for gold to go to $400 bucks almost overnight!

That might stir up these little puppies a bit too.

Teck Selling; Are they buying again low?

I did not comment on the various posts concerning Teck selling some of their shares as they have tradionally taken options in lieu of or as part of payment for services and it has generated revenue in the past for them.

However, if they are buying up again, have they not in principle conducted a "short sale". I know they have not technically.

I know that within many companies shortselling by employee shareholders is prohibited and possible grounds for dismissal. I would assume that short selling is also prohibited for joint venture partners.

Does anyone know if "short selling" in its true form is proihibited by jv partners or only if it is explicitly stated in the jv agreement.
