The constant hyphenating of the blacks as afro American instead of American is a major contributing factor is the current racial issue, but what could be more racist... even someone born in Haiti or in St. Kitts for example, is labeled as afro American even though he has nothing to do with africa, he wasn't born there nor were any of his family, so what could be more racist? This absurd practice is continued even by the most conservative Republicans, as if they would be wrong or rude to call a black person an American without the bullshit hyphen... the whole mind set has to change or we're doomed...
