Thanks for the comment. I'm hacking a Java Business Rules Engine. Gads is that being fun.

Meanwhile, I've hacked out a spreadsheet Java "Bean" (nearly done now) which will greatly enhance the trading toys I'm building in Java.

For readers who are not familiar with the word Java, other than being one of those places in the southern oceans, it's a relatively new (1993+) computer programing language that lets you (contrary to the claims of Microsoft) write a program once that will run on just about all computers, especially those of the Mac, Windows (32 bit), and Unix persuasions. Java makes it possible for me to write and play on my Mac but still work with folks who use Winders (I'm typing this on my new Compaq laptop running NT and Netscape).
