I had never heard of her until yesterday. I disconnected me television service years ago. When advertisements for programs like "Queer Eyes for Straight Guys" started to appear, I threw in the towel on television and permanently cancelled my DirectTV subscription.

After all, there is a lifetime of archived shows and movies to enjoy, commercial free, so I don't miss television in the slightest. People talk about current shows they watch these days, and I have no idea what they're talking about. LOL. I like it that way. :-)

My wife and I watch a hour of archived television on our bedroom big screen each night before we retire for the day. We watched the entire Mission Impossible series from the 60s/70s, the entire Perry Mason series from the 50s/60s, and now we're watching the entire Alfred Hitchcock series from the 50s/60s. We also have all of The Twilight Zone episodes and tons of our favorite movies still to watch, and countless other shows.

For decades, I watched the Andy Griffith Show daily and loved the hell out of it. It was my favorite show no matter how many times I saw the same episodes. Then, after Griffith had a meltdown and re-enacted a scene from Mayberry with Ron Howard where they both played the roles of Sheriff Taylor and Opie supporting "Mr. Obama", I saw it and nearly threw up. I'll never watch that program again. I would never be able to enjoy the innocence of it without remembering him supporting Obama as Sheriff Taylor. It still makes me sick to think about it.

Get a load of this sick shit...

...she had her meltdown on camera right after Katrina...

One good thing about Hurricane Katrina is that it exposed New Orleans for what it really was (and still is). -ng-

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the widespread criminal behavior exhibited by many of the inhabitants of New Orleans, Charles Murray wrote a very interesting article entitled "The Hallmark of the Underclass".
