WOW!!! That was INCREDIBLE!!

You know 2MARS$, I gotta tell you that I have really grown to respect your intelligence and your humanity. And I am somewhat churlish about giving compliments so you just got a compliment from the ghost of Spinoza!

What would I do and think if I was born into a world without thousands and thousands of religions and names for "God". Just me--and no books or ideas passed on from others?

I would know how important the sun was, for sure! I would wonder what the moon was and all those lights in the sky at night? I would wonder why water was wet and what made it move. I would wonder what the invisible air was and what made it move. I would see that when I acted things happened. Therefore, something was moving the leaves and the water--but WHAT? Whatever it was was invisible to me.

Before long (SURPRISE) I would have a lot of Gods and eventually ONE GREATEST GOD--Thor, Zeus, Yahweh...whatever.

But it was all invented because I started with absolutely nothing. Now if I were to start with a scientific framework then I would still wonder about existential questions. But I would not wonder what made leaves move or water wet...because I would KNOW. So my idea of "god" would have nothing to do with Chosen Peoples or that sort of crap. It would be like it was for Einstein--a wonder and an awe...
