Sorry, but I don't see any improvement whatsoever from the Big Three.

I did fall in love with the Chevrolet Camaro after the first Transformers movie. That was before the bailout, of course.

I've also driven a GMC Acadia sometime around the bailout. Good SUV, but nothing that could be attributed to the bailout.

Like I said, there was nothing really bad (or really good) about GM before the bailout.

I'm also of the opinion that GM could have survived without a bailout, if they had gone through the normal Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. Most of the jobs would have been saved, but the owners might have been private equity firms or foreign firms. No big deal.

Guess we'll never know, now that GM has been, for all practical purposes, nationalized.
