Amazing, you finally figured it out ... all by yourself! What the hell do you mean "finally"? Do you think I sit here wondering what loser project you might have been responsible for? Did you have a hand in the P4 too? Actually I worked on the Itanium chipsets, not the CPUs. Not a big degree of separation, though. Well, take solace...even a very good chipset can't save a core that won't clock... And yeah, I am comparing the Volt to the Itanium.
