I hope the whole police department gets scoured until it changes its ways. This is unacceptable.

It does happen, though.

CJ Box's novel "Blue Heaven" tells a chilling fictional tale of how bad it could get. I recommend it.

Not a good situation to have the cops and firemen against the citizens of the town. It's getting nasty.

Nasty, and increasingly more common. And it's not only the police. It becomes more and more Us vs. Them.

Them got a lot they want to protect.

I am glad to hear the charges were dropped.

I find it hard to believe that the police can give you a Driving Under the Influence when you are walking. The papers reported that he blew an .08. Something sure is goofy.

No doubt the Police Report has already hit the shredder.
