It goes both ways... years and years ago our Canadian dollar was worth $1.10 and then dipped down to about $0.60 now it is more or less par. When our dollar low there were swarms of Americans coming up fishing and hunting and raising hell now a lot of that is gone. A lower Canadian dollar was a big bonus to the Canadian economy.

You might see travel tourism go further south if Obama institutes his head tax on Canadians.
