Exactly..... it's the ole freighter analogy. You can't turn a freighter around on a dime. It took us 70 years to get here, we are going to have to chip away at the big government programs a little bit at a time. And as loud as the extremists are on either side of the spectrum, we need to win the middle first. We can't win the middle with extremism. And it's not like we lose the radical right with a moderate right candidate. The reason that there is an Anybody But Obama movement is that it is clear that we can't get much worse than Obama as a president.
