I would argue that in this election, any change in the white house will significantly change the course of the ship altogether.

I don't think that Santorum or Gingrich can win the middle. I think Ron Paul has a chance simply because he appeals to a lot of the middle and even some of the left. Same thing with Romney.

And where Ron Paul may not have the best numbers in the primaries, if it came down to Gingrich and Santorum dropping out, Paul would get most of the Anybody But Romney votes.

I believe that any republican candidate will get pretty much all of the votes from conservatives, moderate to extreme. So our opinion doesn't matter that much.

In my mind, the only two who can beat Obama are Paul and Romney. And only Paul would really change the political landscape in a big way.
