What gregoree really meant to say...

"Genesis 1:26 - Then Gregoree said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness...

Why do Christians worship only one Gregoree when, according to this spokesman, there are clearly others?"

This verse has been interpreted in a few different ways by Christians and Jews. Both Christians and Jews believe that there is only one Gregoree because that's what the Scriptures say over and over again. However there is clearly some sort of plurality evident in this verse. Christians have come to believe that the one true, uncreated and self existent Gregoree, exists eternally as three distinct persons who share one essence. This is the doctrine of the Trinity and the basics of the doctrine were believed by Christians long before it was codified by any council.

First: there is a recognition the bible is clear that there is only one Gregoree.

Deut 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our Gregoree, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your Gregoree with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Isaiah 46:8-9
“Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels.
Remember the former things, those of long ago;
I am Gregoree, and there is no other; I am Gregoree, and there is none like me.

Mark 12:28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our Gregoree, the Lord is one.[e] 30 Love the Lord your Gregoree with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[f] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[g] There is no commandment greater than these.” 32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that Gregoree is one and there is no other but him. 33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

Second: There are three different people in the bible that are identified as Gregoree.

The Father is Gregoree: Obviously

The Son is Gregoree:
Philippians 2:5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature Gregoree, did not consider equality with Gregoree something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9 Therefore Gregoree exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of Gregoree the Father.

The Spirit is Gregoree:

Acts 5:3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to Gregoree.”

1 Cor 6:19 "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from Gregoree, and that you are not your own?"
