Jake, I do know that the figure of 243,000 new jobs in February was NOT derived from any household survey but from actual payroll data filed with Department of Labor.

I got calls from the CPI for about a year. They were very interesting. Not only how much was spent but what store and type of store. They seemed to cover most commonly used items, I think bread was the first question.How many loaves per week etc.
