A chicken egg is not a chicken. An acorn is not an oak. The fat and superstitious Genesis throwbacks who present these barbarian bills are incapable of lucid and coherent thought. Having human DNA (such as my fingernail or some itchy skin between my toes) does not make a citizen. It does not constitute a legal human person. Yes, one could clone a bit of their nail and eventually produce a living breathing entity capable of being granted the moral and legal status of CITIZEN. However, the State does NOT issue citizenship papers to gametes and it is not about to start! Life does not begin at conception. It began 4 billion years ago. It continues to this day and into tomorrow. The majority of conceptions end in spontaneous abortions. The State is not about to muster all her insufficient resources to fight this hit and miss proposition of life, as she would be REQUIRED to do were these gametes actual persons and citizens. This attempt to strip women of their equal rights under the law is both old and tiresome. Pretending that women are exempt from fundamental rights and freedoms in favor of some biological property they carry is moronic and immoral and incalculably sadistic.
