bob, not to worry. not too much anyway. the only mistake that need concern you is a fatal mistake - it will be your last! it is good that you tend to take the long run outlook. i don't know where you have picked up your training or background on the stock market, but at the risk of offending you i am recommending the following book: 'understanding wall street (3rd edition)' by jeffrey little and lucien rhodes. it really is a classic, and cheap at a list of $11.95. there is stuff in there an old timer like myself (40+ years in the market) can refresh on. there are some excellent readings once one has a good foundation. good luck, ray
