It's these type of numbers that get expectations so high. When the stock cannot meet these expectations, then it falls big time. Last quarter, it beat the number by 4 cents, I believe, which was great but did not get near some of the numbers mentioned and DELL fell the next day. I wish you didn't have such high expectations. It would be great for DELL to meet them but it kills DELL when it doesn't.

Pat ----

I think you missed my forecast for a 2/1 split when we are trading in the 90-100 range. That's probably going to happen next week because of our Thanksgiving holiday.

Anyway, my earnings estimate was $0.69 per share. Actually, I had several numbers, but my Dad turned 69 in August, so I'll go with that number again.

David

Pat, I really liked the way you made a bell curve out of the data. <G> Based on the curve I get 0.73. <GGG> Tulvio

Congrats to Paul V.W., Richard T., George, Lightpen, Bob Lindinger.
You guys were right on.

Other highlights..

Net margins increased to 7.8%
Gross margins increased to 22.5%
OPEX held steady
Asia Pac sales are only 6% of revenue

Still perusing the report. Looks very healthy with continuation
of positive trends.
