That chart certainly looks like hope in the air....however, I would agree with the bernanke for a moment and just say gold is not money.

Here is a joke...or analogy my father used to tell me. He had given me a gold and white gold pocket watch..I guess it was platinum jewel encrusted his father gave him and he was supposed to give me when I got married, he couldn't wait....subsequently, my apartment was broken into and it was stolen and I never married....it was priceless. I've always assumed it would find its way back to me someday...not yet?

Here's the story...speaking in an Italian accent, on his wedding day the happy father gives his son a pistol for a wedding gift. but, papa I don't want a gun couldn't you give me a pocket watch or something. The proud father says my father gave me a gun, his father before him gave him a gun and so on.

He went on to tell his son, Son, someday you are going to come home and find your wife in bed with another man. What are you going to do, pull out your pocket watch and tella him his timea is up? No, you're gonna shoot.<g>

that chart...looks like it could breakdown to me...just on the RSI alone....technically speaking. and since we are in a very manipulated market it would give JPM and the like opportunity to fill there warehouse vaults with precious metals.....just a thought?<g>

LOL....Whatta gonna do? Say times up?

<< he black swan detective of all time in theory.>> but per Nassim own definition, Black Swans can NOT be predicted, that is why he perhaps the first ever to introduce a defensive algorithm against Black Swans in early 1987.
His first year on the job.
He saved Fleet of Boston millions many millions--so many millions, they gave him a bonus that as he said gave a small fortune that he called "His "F--- You!"--that he never had kowtow agan:)(They also made their First year employee, a full partner)
Regards that last crash, he said he EVEN saw it coming, so it was naught but a Grey Swan.
In his book he did single out George Soros, saying he was one of handful of people that had some ineffable ability to INTUIT the future.
Nassim, like Rogers and Faber consider themselves at best, mediocre timers--like everybody else(which means at best a 50% degree of accuracy). Rogers has said he, Jim Rogers, is one of the worst market timers in the world:) Max
