Craig, I am aware that there have been management changes. But that does not seem to have done anything to stem the rot and bring the company back into the black. Agreed that the flip side of the argument might be that the current management has not had enough time, but then again shareholders have finite patience. Also, the old guard may really be the ones who are wielding the power inspite of the changes.

My issue is this - if the business model for a small niche player like Shiva looks bleak given the consolidating networking industry, what steps is the current management taking to enhance share holder value? By steps, I mean considering a sale of the company to a more dominant player such as Nortel, Lucent, etc. After all, the only thing this company has going for it is its technology.

If the sale of the company is not feasible, then what steps are being taken to grow the company as an independent player?
